We gave two free demonstrations of Move with Balance® with Music at the Neuromedicenter in Quito, Ecuador. We worked with Alzheimer’s patients at a day care center. They were totally accepting of us. The couple who runs the day care center are very dedicated. They have a diagnostic room, a small “gym”, a sensory/motor room, and a gardening area for the clients.
The people here love the program because they said we exude Love. They said they worked on the body and brain, but not the heart, and they loved the way we did the program. We work on the heart and they saw it.
Thank you, Lissette and Alberto, and all the Alzheimer’s patients.

Here the participants at an adult day care center in Portugal are joining with us for the “Gandhi Farewell”. It is a poem from Gandhi that we have been doing at the end of every Move With Balance® class for the past 10 + years. It involves call and response, plus other movements. In 2014 Bill Fuller, our musician, wrote original music for the poem, which, of course, makes the whole experience more beautiful. At the end of class, we all hold hands in a loving circle. (The song is available on this website, the movements are in our book on page 68.)
Here the participants are following the movements and responding to our original song “I Am Love” available on our website.
Everyone was so open, receptive, and loving, including the staff and participants. When you have clear movements and music, you really don’t need many words. They truly got our message of love.
We had a fantastic time in Portugal in September. We visited 3 Alzheimer’s adult day care center and happily shared Move With Balance® with Music. Here the participants are doing “ARROWS” from our book.
Judd wrote to us as he ordered more books for the Move With Balance program in Arkansas:
“Also I just wanted to let you know how many compliments we are getting from your program. I personally lead a MWB group for over a year and have seen the progression with the Seniors I worked with. I just trained 8 more leaders yesterday. We have 6 classes going now throughout the White RiverRegion of Arkansas and are expecting to have 6 more going before the end of January. Thank you again!
